Craft Beer, Pizza, and Golf in Tewksbury

A destination taproom on Main Street where hop-forward IPAs, fresh pizza, and fairways all share the same address.

About Us

Some breweries pour good beer. Tree House Brewing Company does that and then adds a golf course to the property, just to make sure you stay a while. The Tewksbury location at 1880 Main St is built around that same confident, craft-first identity the brand has earned across Massachusetts, and the moment you walk through the door the building makes a statement. Dark craftsman exterior, stone accents, blue spruce framing the entrance. This place knows exactly what it is.

Inside, the taproom earns its reputation on the strength of its hop-forward IPAs, a style Tree House has refined into something genuinely distinctive. The selection runs deep, and the experience of discovering your next favorite pour here has become a ritual for regulars who make the drive from across the region. With a rating built on nearly 800 reviews, the enthusiasm is not manufactured.

Beyond the pint glass, the Tewksbury clubhouse brings together a daily pizza program and a bookable golf course called The Course @ Tree House, turning an afternoon stop into a full day out. Families, friend groups, and private event guests all find a reason to linger.

What We Offer

The taproom is the anchor, offering an ever-rotating lineup of craft beers to enjoy on-site or take home. Beer to-go and curbside pickup make it easy to stock up without committing to a full visit, though most people end up staying longer than planned.

Hungry? On-site pizza is available daily, giving you something substantial to pair with whatever is on tap. No need to plan around a separate dinner reservation.

The Course @ Tree House sets this location apart from any other taproom in the region. Tee times are bookable, making it easy to build a proper outing around a round of golf and a cold IPA at the end. For groups with something to celebrate, private event hosting is available, combining the clubhouse atmosphere with Tree House's full craft beer experience.

"Amazing place! We came for the beer and pizza, not the golf. But if I lived in the Boston area and enjoyed quality beer as much as I do, I know exactly where I'd be golfing regularly. 😄 First of all, the venue itself is stunning. There are massive seating areas spread across two floors, along with plenty of outdoor seating overlooking the golf course. There's also a second-floor terrace with tables and seating, making it easy to spend an entire afternoon here. Inside, you'll find two bar areas, a huge main bar in the large hall with ample seating, tables, and large TV, plus a smaller adjacent bar with a more relaxed and cozy atmosphere. Service was excellent at both bars. Everyone was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and genuinely passionate about what they do. We arrived right at opening, so the staff had some time to chat with us about Tree House, beer, and football, which we really appreciated. The pizza ordering and pickup area is located in the main hall. Following a recommendation from one of the Tree House crew members, we ordered the Vodka Pie with hot honey. All three of us agreed it was one of the best pizzas we've ever had, absolutely incredible. The pizzas are 18 inches, and I'd recommend one pizza for every two people, especially if everyone is hungry. Two out of the three of us were still hungry after the first one, and since it was so unbelievably good, we couldn't resist ordering another😁 We went for a half cheese, half pepperoni pizza with hot honey, which was also delicious, although the Vodka Pie was on another level. 👌 Be aware that on busy days there can be a significant wait, potentially up to 90 minutes, from what we were told. One thing I really appreciate about Tree House these days is the diversity of their beer lineup. NEIPAs are still the main attraction, and they remain among the very best in the world at brewing them, but it's great to see so many classic beer styles available as well (big change from my last visit to TH in 2019) 😃 As World Cup tourists, we wanted to make the absolute most of our visit. However, after a few full pours of 8% ABV NEIPAs, we quickly found ourselves sharing two glasses between the three of us, and later even sharing a single glass between the group 😅 On a personal note, I would love to see a smaller pour option available alongside the current serving sizes. There's also a well-stocked merchandise shop offering both general Tree House apparel and golf-related merchandise. The only small downside was that several items had limited size availability on the day we visited. Of course, there are plenty of beers available to take home as well. Orders are placed via touchscreen kiosks, and the beer arrives from the lower level via an automated lift system. As a beer enthusiast, I absolutely loved this place. Between the world-class beer, fantastic pizza, beautiful venue, and genuinely friendly staff, it's an experience I can't recommend highly enough. Bravo, Tree House. We'll definitely be back (if i hopefully visit Boston again😃)"

"Absolutely loved this brewery. This was our first time and it was not disappointing! They had a lot of selections, they have a fancy warehouse elevator to bring up your beers. Their outside spot is absolutely beautiful! Good weather, some amazing crisp IPAs or lagers, good food. This place offers it all! It's is extremely kid friendly! We went on a Tuesday and it felt like it was a Saturday, that's how packed it was! 100% recommend checking it out!"

"Tree House Tewksbury is a destination, and it knows it — but it earns the confidence. The building sets the tone immediately: dark craftsman exterior, stone accents, blue spruce flanking the entrance like something out of a private lodge. Inside it opens up into warm timber framing, exposed beams, a stone fireplace, string lights. It has a country club feel without the attitude. The beer menu is two pages and genuinely exhaustive — Triple New England IPAs pushing 9%+, Imperial Doppelbocks at 11.5%, nitro pours, side pulls, lagers, stouts with marshmallow and coconut and Oreo. Whatever you’re in the mood for, it’s probably on there. The hazies we ordered came out glowing orange in tulip glasses and tasted exactly as good as they looked. A couple things were already sold out, which tells you something about both the demand and the freshness. The gift shop is its own experience — curated Tree House ephemera done right, and a slick can-to-go elevator and delivery setup that makes leaving with a case feel intentional rather than transactional. We skipped the pizza. This is not a casual stop. It’s a pilgrimage spot, and worth making the trip."

"Stopped here for private event. It overlooked the entire inside tap area with outside balcony overlooking golf course. Place was packed and had to use overflow lot across the street. Gift shop area had a nice set up but $40 for a T Shirt😧😧. Outside seating was packed as well and looks like the pizza was a go to !! Due to event never experienced the downstairs itself for atmosphere. However did get my cans to go 😂😂. A bit of a drive so not sure I will be back but place looks great and can tell it is a fan favorite 👍"

"Efficient experience. Many places to order beer. One window to order pizza. Wait for pizza can be 30-90 minutes so they advise you to order the pizza when you arrive. Unfortunately they only offer one size of pizza. Plenty of seating inside and outside. Nice to sit outside and watch the golfers. There is overflow parking across the street. Staff said they can pour over 3k beers on a busy Saturday."
